Apply for National Summer Camp Science Programme 2026

Use this service to apply for a child to attend Tropical Trails and Tales Science Camp 2026.

This camp is part of the National Summer Camp Programme.

There is no fee to apply or attend camp.

Applying does not mean the child has a place.

Who can apply

You can apply if you are the child's parent or guardian.

The child must be 12 to 15 years old.

Before you start

Have these details ready:

• the child's date of birth
• your email address and phone number
• a phone number for another adult we can contact in an emergency
• details of any health condition, allergy, medicine or food need
• the name and phone number for the child's doctor or polyclinic, if they have one
• names and phone numbers for people allowed to collect the child, if the child cannot make their own way home

About the camp

The camp runs from 13 July to 21 August 2026, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.

Camp activities take place at:

• Welchman Hall Seventh-day Adventist Church, Vault Road, Welchman Hall, St. Thomas
• Natural Heritage Department Grounds, #1 Sturges, St. Thomas

When you can apply

Applications close on 5 July 2026.

The Ministry will contact you by 7 July 2026 if the child gets a place.

What happens after you apply

The Ministry will review your application and contact you about the next steps.
