Who can use the service
Only the person who is named as executor of the will can redirect the mail. The executor must present Letters Testamentary to the Post Office before the redirection can be processed. You need to take the will to the Supreme Court to get Letters Testamentary.
If there is no will, the deceased’s next of kin (or other persons entitled by law) may apply to the High Court for a grant of Letters of Administration.
You can read more about Letters Testamentary and Letters of Administration on the Barbados Judicial System website.
