Apply for a conductor's licence

If you are 18 years old or older, you can use this service to apply for a licence to become a conductor on a Public Service Vehicle (PSV).

There are 2 ways to apply for a conductor's licence. You can:

1. Apply online

   You can complete the application online

   Apply online

2. Get a paper application form from the Ministry of Transport and Works.

   You must complete it by hand and return it to the department.

What you will need to share

Along with your personal details, the application form will ask for information about your licences, driving history, and any relevant convictions.

You will also need to provide a copy of your Police Certificate of Character
